Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. What is this place all about?

Las Isla de Memorias (The Island of Memories) is a place where important memories may be saved and savored; whether it is the memory of a person, now changed from this world to another, or about a memory of a living person, a place, or a thing.

Memories of people take priority in terms of timeliness of placement and size of the memorial.

  2. How does one find their way about in here?

See 'Maps" on the left side bar menu for guidance; including a complete directory to memorials.

  3. How does one go about creating a memorial here?

See 'Memory?' on the left side bar menu for all particulars.

  4. Are there any standards for memorials, and if so why?

Yes, there are standards. Samples of acceptable layouts and color themes may be found under 'Samples' on the left side bar menu.

Standards here are like zoning laws in a city which wishes to protect itself from having gas stations and convenience stores surrounding an art museum.

  5. How did this all come into being?

La Isla de Memorias was the brain child of Suzie Pritchard, the founder of The Pleasure Dome(s). See History on the left side bar menu.
